Within the past hour, bitcoin crossed it’s previous all-time high of $108.7k – a remarkable comeback considering that the world was supposedly ending just seven weeks ago. While new ATHs hardly won’t come as a surprise to long-time readers (congrats everyone!), what’s interesting is the context in all of this. For starters, stocks remain flat today – just crypto and gold are up at the time of writing. Even more unusual, this fresh ATH just arrived casually in the middle of a U.S. trading day, instead of the typical quick overnight candle. Something to chew on.

A new report from River reveals that the U.S. dominates Bitcoin ownership globally, holding about 40% of all available Bitcoin. The U.S. also has the highest percentage of population that owns Bitcoin at 14.3% (50 million people). Highly suggest this report.
