

GENIUS Gets Senate Approval
The Senate yesterday passed the GENIUS Act, a landmark bill that establishes federal guardrails for U.S. dollar-pegged stablecoins and creates a regulated pathway for private companies to issue digital dollars. The bill passed with a 68-30 vote. There was a time not too long ago when stablecoins were only really used by traders to move in and out of positions and exchanges.
