AMC CEO Adam Aron called Robinhood’s tokenized AMC offering “outrageous” and asked outside securities counsel to review it. Revolut goes for the full U.S. bank
Revolut has received conditional OCC approval to launch a full-service U.S. national bank, with a 2027 opening planned pending FDIC, Federal Reserve and final OCC approvals. Revolut already serves more than 80 million customers globally with an app spanning cards, payments, currency exchange, investing and crypto. In the US, many of those services currently run through partner banks. Its own charter would let Revolut directly offer insured deposits, loans, credit cards and payments, while still supporting crypto and a planned Revolut-branded stablecoin. Crypto firms press SEC for faster reviews
Grayscale is among the crypto firms asking the SEC to let sponsors submit proposed crypto fund registrations confidentially and respond within 45 days, arguing that public filings invite copycats. 21Shares and a16z also favor faster reviews. Jane Street warns that rushed launches leave less time for feedback on fund structure and liquidity, while Schwab opposes a fully confidential process.
