BTC Crosses $85k… Now Up 44% In Q3
Bitcoin has climbed 44% so far in the third quarter, its best showing since late 2024, while the S&P 500 and Nasdaq have each added just 2%. Major tokens including ETH, XRP and SOL are up between 40% and 150%. Meanwhile, the average Bitcoin ETF Holder is back above water for the first time since January.
Should Hyperliquid Buy Gemini (GEMI)?
After sliding more than 80% since its public debut, Gemini (GEMI) is now worth ~$750 million, as it’s multiple continues to drop compared to other publicly traded crypto exchanges. Ark Invest's Director of Crypto Research, Lorenzo Valente, publicly proposed that Hyperliquid acquire Gemini in order to takeover the company’s US licenses allowing perpetual futures and prediction markets. The catch: the Winklevoss twins control 94.5% of the voting power, so any sale would run through them. Read more →
You can now participate in IPOs on Coinbase
Coinbase will now let eligible U.S. customers request IPO shares at the offer price before public trading begins. The first deal available will be Oura’s upcoming IPO. Coinbase is also adding an anti-flipping rule: investors who sell IPO shares within 30 days may be blocked from participating in future IPOs for 60 days, while repeated early selling could reduce future allocations.
