

Cloudflare goes in on crypto
Only days after launching the x402 protocol in partnership with Coinbase (TLDR here), Cloudflare (NET) today announced a new stablecoin dubbed NET Dollar focused on “agentic commerce.” This may all seem complicated and the cause for much a eye-glaze, but it is potentially an important development. You see, there may be a time soon in which robots and AI agents need a reliable medium of exchange in order to transact with the web autonomously. Cloudflare (a super legit $75 billion market company) has the chops of anyone to figure this out. First Ethereum Staking ETF Launches
Fresh off the launch of the first XRP and DOGE ETFs, REX-Osprey today launched its ETH + Staking ETF, the first U.S.-listed ETF to give investors exposure to ETH plus staking rewards under the ticker symbol ESK. The launch comes on the back of ETH dropping below $4,000. Read more →

Circle is inching closer to TradFi norms. In an interview with the FT, President Heath Tarbert said the stablecoin giant is exploring reversible transactions – a fraud / chargeback system – that goes far against the grain of immutable blockchain roots. Why it’s good? It could add more consumer-style protections around fraud, hacks, disputes, and could easily boost enterprise adoption. Why its a slippery slope?
