Block CEO and Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey has soft-launched a new app called Bitchat. The app is a decentralized, peer-to-peer messenger that works entirely over Bluetooth mesh networks, with no internet, central servers, phone numbers or emails required. Crypto miner Bit Digital (BTBT) has dumped its last remaining 280 BTC and used $173 million from a recent equity raise to purchase 100,603 ETH – catapulting the small-cap into “one of the largest” publicly-traded Ether treasury companies and sending share prices up ~70%. Mind you, the same company who was all-in on mining just a few months ago was also accused of serial fraud schemes by J Capital in 2021. Read more →

ReserveOne’s $1 billion SPAC

The newly launched firm will be going public through a business combination with M3-Brigade Acquisition V Corp. (MBAV). The company plans to hold a portfolio of BTC, ETH, SOL and other tokens. The board will include Tether co-founder Reeve Collins, former U.S. Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross, and Coinbase’s John D’Agostino. The ticker will be RONE after a Q4 close.
