Hyperliquid Eyes US Launch Through Kraken

Just weeks after Trump said regulators were working to bring Hyperliquid into the U.S. legally, we now have the first concrete look at how that could happen. Hyperliquid is reportedly in talks with Kraken parent Payward to offer some of its perpetual futures to U.S. traders through Bitnomial, the regulated derivatives exchange Payward acquired in April. For Hyperliquid, whose main trading interface currently blocks Americans, it would open a major new market without requiring the platform itself to become a traditional U.S. exchange. For Kraken, it puts that $550 million Bitnomial acquisition to work with one of crypto’s hottest trading venues. Read more →

Anthropic emerges behind Hut 8’s Texas AI buildout

Hut 8’s (HUT) massive Texas AI campus just got a much clearer end customer. Anthropic has reportedly agreed to spend $35 billion with cloud provider Lambda for computing capacity at Beacon Point, a data center Hut 8 is building in Texas, with Nvidia reportedly holding the underlying lease. For Hut 8, the bigger story is the caliber of customers now sitting behind its AI expansion… Beacon Point is tied to Nvidia, while a separate Louisiana project for Anthropic and Fluidstack is financially backed by Google. Strategy starts buying bitcoin again

After a 10-week pause, Strategy is buying bitcoin again, adding 4,603 BTC for nearly $370 million last week and bringing its holdings to 845,050 BTC. But this isn’t quite a return to the old one-way accumulation playbook. Strategy just spent another $152 million buying back STRC last week, funded its preferred dividends and added to its cash reserves – all using proceeds from new MSTR share sales. With STRC still struggling to reach its $100 target, Strategy is now balancing bitcoin accumulation with the much more active capital-management strategy we’ve been watching over the past few months.
