On Wednesday, the stock had surged as much as 110% higher, leading to multiple trading halts, yet closed its opening day with only a ~17% gain. World Liberty Financial – the Trump-linked token project – blacklisted a wallet tied to Justin Sun, a significant WLFI investor, after on-chain trackers saw transfers to exchange deposit addresses. Sun denied selling, calling them minor “deposit tests,” and publicly urged the team to unlock his tokens. Hyperliquid is Boomin’
Hyperliquid is becoming the premiere venue for on-chain trading, recently surpassing Coinbase and Bybit in 24-hour spot trading volume. The protocol has processed over $200 billion in trading volume in recent months and has allowed it to directly compete with centralized exchange offerings on both liquidity and user experience, a feat few decentralized protocols have been able to offer. Hyperliquid also recorded its highest-ever revenue and trading volume in August.
