Michael Saylor published 110 reasons to oppose BIP-110, a proposed Bitcoin rule change that would temporarily limit how much extra data can be embedded in transactions. Supporters want to discourage people from using Bitcoin to store images, tokens and other content they consider spam, keeping the network focused on money and payments. Saylor agrees with the goal but argues Bitcoin cannot reliably tell spam from a legitimate future use — and that changing its core rules to police content is more dangerous than the data itself. Robinhood’s memecoin summer burns out
A couple weeks ago, we asked how long Robinhood Chain’s memecoin boom could last. Apparently, not very long. The chain was pitched as infrastructure for tokenized stocks and real-world assets, but memecoins quickly took over — and many are already collapsing. One launchpad shut down its token deployer after bots flooded the chain, another paused operations over an internal integrity issue, and several heavily traded tokens have fallen toward zero.
