Japan & Greenland shock the market
The market is in a bit of haywire this morning from things happening on the opposite sides of the world. First, we have Trump ratcheting up his rhetoric on acquiring Greenland causing investors to question the NATO alliance and whether we are entering a new trade war. Nobody knows what’s going to happen with the Clarity Act
The Clarity Act in the Senate is basically a momentum game right now. Wintermute lobbyist Ron Hammond’s take is that the second this loses political momentum, it’s “dead in the water.” And at this stage, what we’re mostly seeing is both sides just talking their book, still voicing their concerns without any signs of real progress being made behind the scenes.
