

Circle Reports First Quarterly Earnings as Public Company
Fresh off of a monster June IPO, Circle (CRCL) released its first earnings report as a public company, beating analysts’ revenue estimates. The American stablecoin giant’s revenue for the quarter was $658 million, up 53% from $430 million a year ago. While the company reported a net loss of $482 million, compared with a profit of $33 million a year ago, the loss was due to one-time costs associated with the IPO. Stripe Building ‘Tempo’ Blockchain with Crypto VC Paradigm
According to a recent job posting from crypto lobby group Blockchain Association, Stripe is developing a new blockchain in stealth dubbed ‘Tempo'. The posting states that Tempo is in stealth, has a team of five, and is being built in partnership with Paradigm – the crypto VC firm whose cofounder, Matt Huang, is on the board of Stripe. BitMine Wants to Buy $20B More ETH
Ethereum treasury company BitMine Immersion Technologies (BMNR) filed with the SEC this morning an intent to expand its capital raise offering from $4.5 billion to $24.5 billion to buy more ETH. As the largest ETH treasury company, and the first to cross 1 million ETH, BitMine is trying to cement itself as the ‘Ethereum MicroStrategy.'
