For everything that occurred (especially in regards to crypto) in 2025, BTC returned a whopping -6% return… Now while we did hit ATHs this year, ending down is quite annoying, especially with the rollout of crypto’s friendliest administration ever.

But zoom out, and 10 years ago today BTC was trading for under $400. Trading now at ~$87k, BTC has returned more than 20,000% to investors. Not bad.

Trump Media to Start New Cryptocurrency for Shareholders

Trump Media (DJT) plans to issue a new cryptocurrency in a partnership with Crypto*com, which will be distributed among its shareholders. It is expected to operate on Crypto*com’s Cronos blockchain. Each of Trump Media’s shareholders will receive one token per share… Trump himself of course is the company’s largest shareholder with a 41% stake in the $3.7B market cap business.
