

Zcash core devs quit; token drops 15%
The entire team at Electric Coin Company (ECC), developers of privacy-token Zcash (ZEC) have resigned and left to start a new company. ECC CEO Josh Swihart said the team left due to a governance conflict with the board of Bootstrap, which governs ECC and helps steward the Zcash ecosystem.
While the Zcash protocol remains operational, the mass departure led to ZEC dropping more than 15%. At the same time, ZEC is still up more than 700% over the past year but it has given up it's market cap lead to privacy token Monero (XMR). Read more →
Strategy’s Premium Has Finally Evaporated
